The pedestrian street of Dionissios Aeropagitis

The pedestrian street of Dionyssios Areopagitis starts at Amalias Avenue and ends at the Odeon. It is part of the pedestrian system that aimed at the unification of the archaeological sites of the center of the city. The pedestrian zone, which has been declared an archaeological site, does not allow the passage of vehicles and you can enjoy a stroll down the pedestrian walkway which is among the largest in Europe.

Important reference points are the large plateau in front of the new Acropolis Museum and Parthenis triangle (intersection of Robertos Ghalis and Dionyssios Areopagitis streets).

To the West, the pedestrian street of Dionyssios Areopagitis connects with Apostolou Pavlou Street (also pedestrianized), leading to Thissio.
